What is worth More than Gold? A relationship with Jesus Christ!
Using the theme, More than Gold, AIM volunteers will use trading pins and Bibles to share the Gospel to the 300,000 or more visitors coming to Lexington for the games.
The More Than Gold trading pin is a souvenir quality piece. Pin trading is popular at WEG just as it is at the Olympics. The pins are printed on gold.
Volunteers will give these pins to visitors as a gift and never in trade. The colors in the logo will be used like a salvation bracelet in order to share the gospel as the pin is freely given away.
Each pin costs about 50 cents. We hope to order 50,000. You can sponsor the pins in quantities of 100 (or any quantity you would like). Find out more on our donation page.
Special custom Bibles are being printed. They will feature testimonies from a variety of horse people. A gospel presentation using the theme “More Than Gold” will also be included. These Bibles will not be tied specifically to WEG so that they can be used in the future as well.
The Bibles will cost about $3.00 each. You can sponsor them in quantities of 25 Bibles.
Help us spread the word! This colorful flyer will help you share with others how they can contribute to the purchase of More Than Gold pins and Bibles. Download, print and share with friends.
The world is coming to Kentucky this September and October for the World Equestrian Games. Affiliated International Ministries (AIM) is composed of churches and related organizations working together to make a positive impact, before, during and after the World Equestrian Games.
There are approximately 300,000 visitors coming from across the US, Europe and the Middle East. The international visitors will come from areas of the world with little or no access to the gospel. The most vital ministry of AIM is prayer; prayer changes lives and can change the world. Prayer is not plan “b” (If I cannot volunteer, then at least I can pray). On the contrary, prayer is God’s plan “A”.
Kentucky WMU produced a devotion and prayer guide for the 2002 Salt Lake Olympics and 2006 Athens Olympics. They were powerful tool to unite believers in prayer for the ministry opportunities at the Olympics. Following this model, a prayer guide was produced for the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
AIM will produce one for the World Equestrian Games. The guide will feature devotions written by people from the horse world, Christian leaders from around the world, and AIM/ WEG officials. There will be prayer requests for each day and a schedule of the games.
The guides are of souvenir quality and will be approximately $1.00 each, plus shipping. We will not know the exact cost until we place the order.
In order to know how many to produce, we are taking pre-orders.
Click here to place your pre-order now. All pre-orders must be placed by June 1.
If you’d like, you may download and print the pre-order form. Mailing instructions are included.
Thank you for praying with us.
